Mini MAIT – Radio telemetry monitoring and control

The new mini MAIT radio control and monitoring modules are now available.

The new mini MAIT units are now available, offering functionality, flexibility, upgradability and integration with existing MAIT systems at far lower cost. The all new mini MAIT radios provide an extremely cost effective option to cabled systems for monitoring and / or control.

Mini MAIT units are available in a range of configurable options.

At the present time, the mini MAIT models are:

Model C

• 2 port field logger and single port solenoid driver. Similar functionality to 4270 cards.
• Reads 2 sensors or multi – depth capacitance probes.
• Drives 1 latching solenoid, 2 relays, 1 flood gate / actuator or 1 pump start.
• Existing network integration.
• Requires 7AH 12V battery and 5 watt solar panel or mains power adapter.
• Transmission range 5-8km, with each field radio capable of operating as a repeater.

Model D

• 2 port analog output card.
• Configurable voltage, current or digital outputs.
• Pump power control.
• Requires 7AH 12V battery and 5 watt solar panel or mains power adapter.
• Transmission range 5-8km, with each field radio capable of operating as a repeater.

Model E

• 2 port analog output card and single port solenoid driver.
• Configurable voltage, current or digital outputs.
• Pump power control.
• Also drives 1 latching solenoid, 2 relays, 1 flood gate / actuator or 1 pump start.
• Requires 7Ah 12V battery and 5 watt solar panel or mains power adapter.
• Transmission range 5-8k, with each field radio capable of operating as a repeater.

The existing MAIT range of field monitoring and control radio units are suiteable where multiple probes and valves are located within practical distances to be cabled or to run command line, or in new installations where cable or tube can be laid in trenches for new pipes.

For applications involving single valves, or where trenching is hazardous, costly or not practical,  then mini MAITs provide the ideal solution. For these applications, each mini MAIT can control 1 12VDC latching solenoid and 2 sensors or multi – depth capacitance moisture probes. Mini MAITs also provide an easy and affordable solution for adding monitoring sites to existing syst

ems, where running cable from field sites is not possible or practical.

Cable replacement Models T (transmitter) and R (receiver) soon to be released.

These models can take a signal at one point and replicate the signal at a remote point. Such as a switch closure at one location can activate a relay (or valve or pump) at a remote location.

A 4-20mA sensor can be read at one locations and that same 4-20mA signal will be replicated at the receiver.

The cable replacement models are stand – alone units, and are not part of the iNTELLiTROL system, therefore, they can be used with any equipment where a need arises to read or control a remote sensor or device.
