iNTELLiPUMP irrigation control system

iNTELLiPUMP is a cost effective PC based irrigation control system designed to provide our clients with a flexible control solution for managing irrigation schedules. The program and operational features have been designed around our client’s requirements and feedback over the past 6 years.

iNTELLiPUMP is a flexible and intuitive program that provides our clients with the ability to manage and control their irrigation schedules from a standard PC. Simple to use irrigation schedule programs, valve, pump control, water budgeting, reports and historic records form the basis of the system. The concept is simple, yet very flexible; the components are:

Your PC with iNTELLiPUMP installed. From your PC, you set up your control sites, pump stations and valves; your virtual controllers. Scheduled irrigation events, programs and actions are then transmitted to the control points in the field (via cable or radio).

Control hardware comprises 16 way 24VAC solenoid and pump start boards with inbuilt fuse protection, 4 way 12VDC latching solenoid and monitoring boards and relay boards for pump control.

Communication from the PC to the field control sites, and between sites is via RS485 communication protocol, whether being cabled, wireless with radios, or a combination of both.

Cost effective upgrading for monitoring

Clients that install iNTELLiPUMP for their irrigation control requirements can easily add the iNTELLiLTROL monitoring system. The package can read data from a wide range of soil moisture, weather station and other sensors such as pressure and flow for in field recording of data to assist with irrigation management decisions and the operation of the irrigation system. Separate field radios and loggers can be installed in the field, and will integrate seamlessly with the irrigation control system. Alternatively, probes can be connected directly to the 12VDC latching solenoid control boards, or loggers can be wired directly to cabled systems.

iNTELLiPUMP provides powerful remote control abilities at an affordable price.

Being a PC controlled system, the cost for infield control equipment is minimised as the intelligence of the system is at the PC. The boards in the field receive commands from the PC, which users program. The main question we receive about iNTELLiPUMP is what happens if the PC stops operating during an irrigation event? The answer is, after each command is sent to the field control sites, the scheduled stop time is also sent and stored in the field boards. If the PC does stop during an irrigation event, the current irrigation will stop, as programmed, and the system will close down. If an alarm module is connected, a notification warning can be sent to inform you of the problem.

Powerful but easy to use program

iNTELLiPUMP has been designed to provide users with a simple, yet powerful and flexible program from which to schedule irrigation programs. An irrigation schedule can be easily created and dragged onto the irrigation list. No complex program to learn. iNTELLiPUMP provides users with most of the features that are required for practical irrigation scheduling; without the complex features that are generally never used.
